Become a Firefighter with the Farmville Fire Department

 Do you have an interest in serving your community but haven't been able to find the right organization? The Farmville Fire Department is currently recruiting firefighters to join our ranks in protecting the citizens of the Town of Farmville and surrounding areas.  We are proud to recruit both Longwood University students and full time residents of the Farmville area.

The Farmville Fire Department is a progressive organization which focuses on firefighter safety, training, public education, and community outreach.  Our command staff is prepared to lead the organization into the next era of public safety by promoting excellence in both education and fireground operations. Do you meet the following qualifications?

 

- At least 18 years old

 

- Valid driver’s license

 

- Good driving record

 

- No criminal history

 

- Ability to commit time to an organization

 

- Willingness to train and learn in a fast paced environment
